Description:
Our General Contractor/Construction Management client is seeking a Superintendent that specializes in ground-up commercial projects to join to their team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of subcontractors and skilled trades on site
- Provide overall on-site administrative to ensure project is constructed in a safe and organized manner and in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and quality
- Assist PM team with implementation of all project procedures
- Responsible for the control of costs in materials and wages
- Participate in negotiation of sub-contractors
- Keeps records on work performed and materials
- Exercises control construction progress in order to complete construction project within time limits
- Attends weekly Owner, Architect, Contractor meetings
- Maintenance of schedule during construction of the project
Must Have:
- 5 years experience as a Superintendent
- Experience managing a handful of $5M projects
- Ground-up/new build experience
- Commercial experience (retail, office, etc.)
Nice to Have:
- CPR, First Aid, OSHA certifications
- Stormwater certification
