Job Title: Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist

Job Description

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), with working hours from Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (including a 30-minute lunch break). As a Laboratory Assistant, you will perform various activities to assist the Lab Supervisor and Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) in the collection of specimens, blood draws, and conducting procedures in support of clinical research trials. You will also be responsible for performing phlebotomy on clinical trial volunteers.

Hard Skills

• Good computer skills (Word and Excel)
• Experience with blood draws using 22/23 gauge needles
• Experience or training in clinical research GCP requirements and medical documentation

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented
• Strong document review skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Orlando, Florida.

Work Environment

We operate in a clinic-type setting with around 80 employees on-site. Please note that we are a 24-hour clinical research facility.
