Description:
We work with both public and private clients on a broad range of civil engineering assignments. Our staff is experienced in geotechnical, water resources and environmental engineering and includes professional engineers, GIS/CAD designers, and laboratory and field technicians. We are seeking a CAD Drafter/Designer with experience, someone who is dedicated to helping generate design concepts and construction plans. The position will require producing detailed drawings meeting company and industry standards. The CAD Drafter/Designer will work from survey data, red-line markups, shop drawings, and sketches and must demonstrate an ability to critically review sketches and work with engineers to resolve issues. Working in an office, laboratory, and field environment may be required occasionally as part of the daily responsibilities. This is a full-time (40 hour) position, but we will consider part-time.
- At least 3 years of experience with Autodesk suite (ideally AutoCAD Civil 3D)
- Two-year certificate in Engineering Technology or Computer Aided Design
- 2 years or more drafting or designing civil engineering projects
- Alternatively someone with a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and 6 months or more industry experience working on civil engineering projects (internships and/or co-ops will be considered as experience)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
