Responsibilities:

Ensures safe and effective care is provided

Ensures adequate medical needs taken care of.

Ensures educational offerings and experiences are available to staff.

Taking vitals in a clinical setting.

Documenting in an EMR system daily.

Skills:

Experience using EMR system

Patient care

Medical terminology

Vital Signs

Collaborative care model – promote teamwork between different roles

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1 year of Experience in patient care, must have 6 months experience in a large hospital setting

BLS- American Heart Association
