Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications. Your expertise in pharmacy operations and patient service will be crucial in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services. Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently - Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug names, strengths, dosage forms, and generic equivalents - Maintain proper storage and handling of medications, including adherence to aseptic technique guidelines - Prepare sterile products using appropriate techniques, such as IV admixtures and inhalation solutions - Perform medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications - Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring their needs are met - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes - Adhere to all legal requirements and regulations governing pharmacy practice Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred - Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting preferred - Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret prescription orders accurately - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients - Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems for prescription processing Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
