Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications. Responsibilities: - Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently - Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of drug names, strengths, dosage forms, and generic equivalents - Maintain proper storage and handling of medications, including adherence to aseptic technique guidelines - Prepare sterile products using appropriate techniques, such as IV admixtures and inhalation solutions - Perform medication inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and restocking medications - Provide excellent customer service to patients by answering questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring their needs are met - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes - Adhere to all legal requirements and regulations governing pharmacy practice Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited pharmacy technician program preferred - Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or clinical setting preferred - Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret prescription orders accurately - Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients - Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems for prescription processing Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
