Job Description

• Filtration of wet mixed metal oxide precipitate
• Drying, milling, and calcining of mixed metal oxides
• Weighing, grinding, milling, sieving and other mechanical operations to prepare battery materials for battery cell builds
• Measurement of material mass, density, and surface Li
• Coin and pouch cell builds using slurry mixer, film coater, calendaring machine, and glove box
• Formation and cycle life testing of battery cells
• Washing of glassware
• Disposal of non-hazardous chemicals and battery cells
• Occasional commissioning of new equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications• Associates Degree

• The work takes place Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week on site at the Research & Innovation Center in Dearborn, Michigan.
• The candidate should already be familiar with a chemistry lab environment, including safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
