Day to Day Work Description:

• Survey commercial, residential and other buildings for HAZMATs including asbestos, lead paint and PCBs.
• Monitor asbestos abatement in accordance with EPA, OSHA and AHERA regulations.
• Collect samples for determination of asbestos, lead or mold content.
• Assist in conducting surveys, preparation of abatement design and specifications.
• Work on roofs, ladders and crawlspaces.
• Daily travel within Philadelphia.
• (can sit out of Delaware or Greater Philadelphia area)

Skills and Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 Year minimum experience in the industrial hygiene industry Required
• Asbestos Building Inspector and Air Monitoring License.
• Lead Paint Inspector and/or Risk Assessor License.
• HAZWOPER.
• Experience in collecting samples for testing of asbestos, lead or mold.
• Environmental report writing and detailed logs preparation.
• Asbestos abatement monitoring.
• Soil/Groundwater sampling.
