Job Description:

Actalent is seeking a talented Architectural Designer that would work under the direction of senior management on a variety of project related tasks including project planning, design, and coordination. The projects are diverse in nature, but include retail stores, shopping centers, salons/spas, restaurants, industrial/warehouse spaces, corporate and medical offices, religious facilities, and residential developments.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a project team and client(s) to understand the technical parameters required to execute the project
• Draft project timelines and construction documents for review and finalization
• Research trends, determine product feasibility, and propose various design options and solutions to internal/external teams
• Perform research and evaluations on new and innovative industry products/technologies
• Assist with project management and administration
• Perform other designated tasks as assigned

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years of architectural experience in a professional setting
• Must have a Bachelors in Architecture, Masters is a plus
• Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, AutoCAD is a plus
• On the path to professional licensure preferred
• Must have prior commercial design and construction documentation experience
• Possess design creativity and solid technical knowledge
• Ability to work under direction on all aspects of architectural projects.
