Description:

• Must follow all laboratory procedures and policies
• Assist with administrative functions of :
• Maintaining clinical records and logs
• Maintaining an organized documents management system for ready access and retrieval of current and archived records and forms.
• Maintaining clinical laboratory supplies
• Other administrative duties as assigned
• Identify administrative problems that may adversely affect test reports and consult with a Supervisor for corrective actions
• Perform and document all corrective actions as assigned
• Assist in quality control/improvement activities
• Complete and document (type of training, person performing the training, and the time spent on training) all mandatory trainings, including annual safety training

Willingness to work in the lab 60% of the time lab (i.e. bodily fluid – currently Urine and nasal swabs.. they will be working with the documentation that comes with the samples and need to be OK being and working around the samples)

Some other specific Functions:

• Maintaining organized document management system for ready access and retrieval of current and archived records and forms (these are file folders on a drive)
• Maintaining clinical Lab supplies
• Must be willing to be tested for COVID-19 2x per week

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 20% differential pay for weekend work
• Degree is not required but would be helpful
• Ability to keep up with the workload and fast/high volume of it all.
