We are looking for experienced Electronics Assembly Technicians to work a 6 Month contract role in Mountain View, CA. This position will come with comprehensive benefits, PTO, and paid holidays.

Job Description

Assemble precision electromechanical parts by following diagrams and specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments in a prototype engineering environment

Assemble cables, electrical connectors, into complex assemblies

Operate in a clean environment to assemble optical-electrical and opto-mechanical assemblies

Operate the testing equipment and document test results using templates and SOPs

Repair, rework assemblies to meet operation tolerance and quality

Verify dimensions and clearances of components and parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and test equipment

Create parts kits and record tracking data such as serial numbers, part numbers, etc. to feed the assembly flow

Assist in inventory management by organizing the parts and enabling storage of components, subassemblies and finishes goods

Accurately follows all applicable manufacturing documentation in the assembly and testing of product

Desired Skills/Experience

Must be a US Citizen as this is an export-controlled facility

2 years of recent, relevant electronics assembly experience down to the component level

-Working with PCBs, electronic components, etc

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
