Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. This role is perfect for someone who excels in the precision design of complex electrical systems and has a passion for high-quality, detailed engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a team of architects, manufacturing engineers, and industrial designers on the design, development, and validation of prefabricated MEP components.

• Design and model intricate building electrical systems, including wiring, electrical devices, lighting, and panel boards using advanced 3D modeling software.

• Produce detailed shop drawings and bill of materials for electrical systems, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.

• Develop assembly drawings and work instructions for both internal processes and external customers.

• Coordinate with various teams for seamless integration of electrical components into building projects.

• Innovate and improve electrical solutions, leveraging experience in systems design, possibly from related industries.

• Maintain a strong focus on detail in all work aspects, from planning to execution.

• Contribute to defining product requirements, data sheets, and specifications.

• Assist in the development of test criteria and qualifying criteria for vendor bid sheets.

• Review supplier and fabricator shop drawings and submittals.

• Research innovative materials and processes, staying informed about industry trends and code changes.

• Uphold high standards of productivity, quality, and collaborative work.

• Develop innovative integration strategies for electrical components in modular construction projects.

Qualifications:

• A degree in engineering or a related field.

• At least 7 years of relevant experience.

• Strong experience in electrical engineering, particularly in building component coordination and detailing.

• Proficiency in Revit, Catia, or other relevant 3D modeling software.

• Knowledgeable in designing and modeling electrical systems and familiar with building codes and regulations.

• Experienced in working on mid to high-rise multi-family projects or large-scale facilities.

• Ability to solve technical challenges in modular construction and conventional construction interfaces.

• Highly self-motivated, flexible, and resourceful with strong leadership and communication skills.

• Experience in modular construction or prefabrication is highly advantageous.
