Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Locate and repair general equipment problems as needed; electric motors, conveyor system and drives, air handling and pneumatic systems, production machinery including open back inclinable punch presses, pumps, tanks and associated piping, gas train and burners.
• Perform basic electrical wiring
• Adjust functional equipment
• Identify cost effective solutions to equipment failures
• General fabrication, including part print reading, metal cutting, welding and finishing
• Operate lift truck (stand up and sit down models)
• Read and follow work instructions
• Enter job time allocations in computerized system
• Observe personal safety precautions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years prior relevant maintenance experience
• Excellent attendance record
• Available to work 6:00 am – 4:00 pm, Mon – Thu, and overtime as necessary
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
• Math and measurement skills with the ability to calculate values in both metric and standard units
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills

Preferred

• 5 years prior relevant maintenance experience
• Journeyman in maintenance field

Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
