Opportunity and position information: Willard Garage in Waukee is an established shop, growing and stable. We provide one of the best equipped, cleanest, and comfortable air-conditioned shops in the Des Moines area. Multiple lifts for each Tech provides more flexibility and less wasted time. Computer access for service information, Identifix, Mitchell 1, and more are at each Tech bay. State of the art new equipment: lifts, diagnostic technology, shop provided SnapOn and Autel scan tools, 1234yf AC machine, Hunter Hawkeye Aligner, Hunter Road Force Balancer, and a generous company tool allowance are available for Techs, and more.
We're accepting applications for an experienced full-time Technician to join our team. We operate with integrity in the way we take care of our customers, their cars, and our team. You’ll enjoy the trust of our great client base and leverage your experience and integrity to maintain that trust.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic, repair, and service on all makes of cars and light trucks
- Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner
- Assist in estimating repairs
- Utilize Mitchell 1 Shop Management, Identifix, IATN, OE websites and other online services to support your work
- Assist in updating digital repair order status
Qualifications:
- 5-20 years of auto repair experience
- ASE Certification preferred
- Own mechanic tool set
- 2-year technical degree OR high school diploma with several years experience
