Position Overview:

As an instructor at ACS, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and passion for healthcare with a diverse group of students. You will play a pivotal role in training the next generation of medical assistants, billing and coding specialists, and pharmacy technicians, preparing them for successful careers in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and interactive curriculum in the Pharmacy Technician program.

Conduct classroom lectures online and onsite, hands-on training sessions, and laboratory exercises.

Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and track their progress.

Stay current with industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations.

Collaborate with the academic team to enhance program curriculum and educational materials.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g.,CPhT) are a plus.

Teaching or training experience in a healthcare or educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using technology for teaching (e.g., Learning Management Systems, virtual classrooms).

Passion for mentoring and educating students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Teaching: 2 years (Preferred)
• subject matter: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• New York, NY 10018: Relocate before starting work (Required)
