Overview:

Our client, a well known engineering firm, is looking to add a Refrigeration Engineer Group Manager to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team of engineers and designers and will be responsible for assigning the team tasks, and balancing resources as the team successfully completes projects on schedule and within budget. Experience in the design of commercial HFC-based refrigeration systems is required. This is a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in the Boise, ID area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse team of refrigeration engineers and designers
• Assign the daily workload while balancing resources to ensure timely completion of all projects on budget
• Direct the work of other engineers, designers, and drafters for completion of design work
• Demonstrate a high level of expertise in Water Source Heat Pump Systems and other traditional HVAC systems in application and mentorship

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program, required
• Professional Engineer License required
• 7 years of experience required
• Proficiency using computers, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office, required
• ACAD and Revit experience, preferred
• Experience in commercial HFC-based refrigeration system designs, preferred
• Experience with Transcritical Co2 and Ammonia systems design, preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple systems, software, and processes required
• People management, mentoring, leadership experience, and ability, required
• Able to interact with other staff and clients with a professional, cooperative, and helpful attitude, required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment to complete projects required
• Outstanding organization and time management skills, required
• Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, required
