Overview:

Our client, a well know engineering firm, is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer Group Manager to their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a dynamic leader of other engineers and designers, meeting with clients to meet their needs and possesses a high level of technical design expertise with Water Source Heat Pump Systems and other traditional HVAC system designs. This is a long-term, direct hire role with our client located in the Boise, ID area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a talented team of mechanical engineers and designers to produce drawings for grocery clients nationwide.
• Frequently meet with clients to assess needs, engineer solutions to problems.
• Direct the work of other engineers, designers, and drafters for completion of design work.
• Demonstrate a high level of expertise in Water Source Heat Pump Systems and other traditional HVAC systems in application and mentorship.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
• Professional Engineer License.
• 10 years of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• ACAD and/or Revit experience a plus.
• Enthusiasm for learning multiple systems, software and processes.
• People management, mentoring, leadership experience and ability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment to complete projects.
• Interact with all staff and clients with a professional, cooperative and helpful attitude.
• Outstanding organization and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with staff on all levels.
• Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
