Overview: Our client, a dynamic, nationally recognized, award-winning engineering firm, is looking for a Bridge Engineering Project Manager to join their growing team, managing and leading bridge design projects across Oregon. The ideal candidate will have a zest for managing and leading innovative bridge design projects, collaborating with leading industry professionals to meet client needs. This position provides a confident self-starter with the opportunity for career advancement while contributing to the firm's growth of Oregon bridge engineering work. This role needs a candidate with a minimum of ten years of bridge design experience for local and state agencies. Proposal development and client relationship management experience is a plus for this multifaceted role. This is a hybrid role with flexible hours. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the bridge design project delivery to create an excellent client experience for a diverse mixture of clients, including local and state government agencies.
• Advance the development of bridge services marketing strategy, focusing on providing exemplary repeat services to current and future clients.
• Coproduce project pursuits and technical challenges.
• Lead design and oversee task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules and contribute to the management of risk.
• Lead the design and production of bridge plans for state and local agency projects.
• Coach junior-level staff and collaborate with PEs across the firm.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program required.
• PE registration in the State of Oregon, or the ability to be registered with reciprocity required.
• 10 years of related bridge design experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• Experience with MicroStation or equivalent CAD software, as well as bridge design software required.
• Knowledge of OpenBridge Modeler preferred.
• Proposal development and client relationship management experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment.

• Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
