Job Summary: The Accounting Supervisor reports to the Accounting Manager and takes responsibility for vendor accounts, customer accounts, and overseeing accounting operations. This position must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to solve problems and develop solutions in a professional manner.

Job Responsibilities/Duties: Accounting Supervisor

• Oversea accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conduct performance evaluations and review and approve timecards.
• Train new hires and identify training opportunities for current staff.
• Make bank deposits daily as needed.
• Work with project managers on any AR billing needs and create the AR billings as requested and send to the customer based on the customer receipt criteria.
• Review customer statements and research any discrepancies.
• Review AR aging reports and make customer calls for any past due amounts.
• Reconcile company credit card statements.
• Keep organized with vendor and customer related emails.
• Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrates good listening skills.
• General cleaning in the area.
• Obey the safety standards of ACS and follow local, state, and federal regulations.
• Responsible for any other tasks that may arise.

Minimum Requirements/Experience:

• Must have ability to read/write English.
• Must have above average organizational, data entry and customer service skills.
• Must demonstrate discretion, trustworthiness, and high confidentiality.
• Excellent computer skills with strong Microsoft Office skills and 40 wpm.
• 10-key calculator by touch.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check for employment.

Required Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent, prefer Associate’s degree or some college courses.
