Acrylabs manufactures and distributes liquid applied, commercial roofing systems.

We are an established company based in Reading, PA with several decades of history and are looking to add a Warehouse Associate member to our Manufacturing and Distribution Facility.

The Warehouse Associate is accountable for participating in all warehouse operations. This includes inventory, blending and packaging, shipping and receiving, and sampling. The successful candidate must have a great attitude and be able to work well within a fast-paced team environment.

• Discussing the production objectives with the senior management
• Ensuring that the production operations follow the company’s standards, policies, and practices
• Must be observant of all industrial hygiene requirements and the proper use of Personal Protection Equipment issued by Company
• Assisting in the preparation of orders for shipment, assembly of multi-component kits and production of samples
• Maintain a clean and safe Production Area
• Supervision Received
• This position reports to the Plant Manager.

• Perform work with complete accuracy
• Comprehend labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
• Perform basic math skills of addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Lift a 65 lb. container
• Operate scales and high speed dispersers
• Organized and detail oriented
• Ability to write and read documents
• Good housekeeping skills

Education And/or Experience

• High School Diploma (Preferred)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Driver’s License (Required)

Language Skills

Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in English.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements include, but are not limited to walking, turning the head and torso, stooping, lifting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, bending, and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, hands, and fingers. The senses of being able to see, hear, and have full power of speech are required.

Work Environment

This position will be working primarily indoors within the warehouse and offices of our newly remodeled facility. Exposure to warehouse production environments such as noise, dust and odors.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
