Acruex is Hiring an Ultrasound Tech Near Elmhurst, NY

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our medical imaging team. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using ultrasound technology. This is a vital role in our healthcare facility, as your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for our patients.

Position: Ultrasound Tech

Location: Elmhurst, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks Contract

Guaranteed hours: 40/week

Shift: 8x4, 4:00 PM-12:00 AM / 12:00 AM-8:00 AM

* Opportunity for an extension.

Skills: 1 year General Registered Ultrasound experience.

Education: Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required. BLS preferred.

Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree

***Local Candidates Only*** No Virtual Interviews - In-Person

alternating weekends required, Weekends/Holidays required

Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound scans on patients using medical imaging equipment
- Obtain and record patient history and pertinent information
- Analyze images and provide detailed reports to physicians for diagnostic interpretation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $69.00 - $74.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
