Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As an ICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring patients, administering medications, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the condition of critically ill patients in the ICU
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs and interpret results to identify any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care
- Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and post-discharge care
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times
