RN - Med Surg (Nights)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our medical/surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This is a full-time position.

Position: RN - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Great Barrington, MA

Facility: Hospital

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract with possible extension

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 12x3

Pay Rate: $55-$63/hr

Requirement:

- COVID VACCINATION (dose date on or after 10/3/23)
- 2 years current Med Surg experience
- IV experience REQUIRED
- BSN Preferred
- PEARS - Pediatric Emergency Assessment and Stabilization preferred
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA)
- MA RN license

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret results
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management
- Assist with ambulatory surgery center procedures
- Phlebotomize and perform venipuncture as needed
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (Epic) for medical documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
