Rad Tech - X-Ray

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Position: Rad Tech - X-Ray

Location: Glens Falls, NY

Facility: Hospital

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract with possible extension

Shift: Variable Shifts: 7a-3p, 7.30a-3.30p, 8.30a-4.30p and/or 2.30p-10.30p 40hrs scheduled, 30hr guarantee

Pay Rate: $58-65/hr

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Develop and process X-ray films or digital images
- Review images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques for each patient
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed

Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited X-ray Technician program
- NYS license & ARRT (R) and BLS

- Min. 1 year XRay experience

- Previous/Current travel experience strongly encouraged

- Cerner EMR

- Mckesson PACS experience encouraged

- COVID vaccinations strongly encouraged.
