We are looking for a Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team and work on commercial real estate projects. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for various types of construction projects, such as office buildings, hotels, retail stores, etc.
- Reviewing design drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Performing site inspections to evaluate commercial properties
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure accuracy and feasibility of estimates
- Updating and maintaining cost databases
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role in the commercial real estate industry
- A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and RS Means
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
