Job Title: Assistant International Sales Coordinator

FLSA Status: Exempt

Reports to: Manager, International Projects

Primary Purpose:

Under minimal supervision provide Sales support to the International business unit. Assist with cross functional coordination of activities between all departments involved in driving the Sales process forward from receipt of inquiry to contract award through to project completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare professional sales quotations, proposals and Tender Submissions issued to potential End users/Clients in the international market. Assist in the follow-up on quotations, proposals, and Tender Submissions.
  • Prepare correspondence and memoranda related to Acrow’s business interests in the international market. Communications shall relate to audiences as diverse as Country Agents/Representatives, Clients/End users, Public Officials in various countries, and U.S. Embassy Personnel abroad, among others.
  • Identify potential leads and information on customers and competitors
  • Liaise with Business Development, Engineering, Finance and Logistics departments to coordinate and organize in a timely fashion all project deliverables from initial inquiry to Bid to final Project Award, Execution, and follow-up.
  • Present Business Development and Marketing activity reports to President, International Business Development inclusive of the use of CRM Software such as Salesforce.
  • Project leader in the development of major international bid proposals.
  • Assist in research that identifies high potential export markets and monitors competitor activity (pricing, geographical reach, other metrics).
  • Assist in the research, analysis, and monitoring of political, financial, and technological trends within the international market to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive forces.
  • Undertake all professional responsibilities in accordance with company policy and all applicable laws, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
  • Understand and adhere to all Acrow’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Travel to other Acrow Locations or Customer Sites as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Complete fluency in Spanish language.
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), particularly Excel Spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with strong emphasis on attention to detail. Writing sample required in both English and Spanish (separate documents, not a translation of the same document).
  • Strong team player with the ability to work harmoniously with the different departments within the company.
  • Ability to work independently and with staff located remotely.
  • Superior planning and organizational skills combined with ability to work under pressure on multiple deadlines.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration (Marketing, Accounting or Finance) or Engineering and 4 to 6 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in French and/or Portuguese a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is typically performed in an office environment which requires proper safety precautions. Work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes, or equipment.
