Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our team. As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and stencil printers - Load programs and materials into machines according to specifications - Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper operation - Inspect PCBs for defects and perform necessary rework or repairs - Maintain accurate production records and documentation - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area Skills: - Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge - Proficiency in operating SMT equipment and power tools - Ability to read and interpret PCB assembly drawings and work instructions - Experience with soldering techniques and using calipers for precise measurements - Familiarity with logic controllers and automated assembly systems - Attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure As an SMT Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations.
