Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Lead, mentor, and develop the security architecture and engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning. · Develop and implement a strategic plan for transitioning to a Zero Trust security model, aligning with the organization's overall security and business objectives. · Oversee the evaluation, selection, and integration of security technologies and practices that support the Zero Trust framework. · Monitor the effectiveness of security measures, conducting regular reviews and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities. · Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure security requirements are integrated into the development and deployment of all IT projects. · Communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of risks and strategies. · Stay in touch with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually refine and enhance the organization's security architecture. Education and/or Experience: · A seasoned professional with 10 years of progressive experience in IT security · Deep understanding of network and application security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and threat modeling. · Track record of successful collaboration with network, datacenter, and systems teams · Proven expertise in managing timelines and deliverables effectively. · Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team of security professionals. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
