SR. CLAIMS ADVOCATE - AEROSPACE

Job Summary

As a Senior Claims Advocate at Acrisure Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our aviation and aerospace clients throughout their claims process.

Responsibilities

Managing and monitoring commercial claims for clients, including initiating loss reports, liaising with insurance companies, tracking payments, and ensuring claims are closed satisfactorily.

Conducting initial reviews of claims to address coverage questions and reviewing claim denials for accuracy, acting as a liaison between clients and insurance adjusters.

Serving as the primary contact for both adjusters and clients regarding claims-related issues.

Collaborating with the Risk Manager to address complex coverage questions.

Obtaining loss data from carriers as needed.

Preparing claims-related information for presentations.

Resolving customer claim issues in coordination with Account Executives and Producers to mitigate errors and omissions (E&O) risks.

Providing claims packets to clients and prospects upon request.

Proficiently interpreting policy forms, understanding coverage details, and engaging carriers when necessary.

Evaluating and challenging claim reserves based on industry standards and claim-specific expertise.

Coordinating with legal counsel for potential lawsuits or trials.

Coordinating loss control services between the carrier and client.

Accompanying sales team on client visits when needed.

Requirements

College degree required or recognized equivalent.

5-7 years of relevant experience.

3-5 years of aviation claims experience desired.

Possession of a Property & Casualty Adjuster License.

Maintenance of Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Adobe Acrobat, and Customer Database Programs (Experience with Applied / EPIC is advantageous).

Must be able to travel to various offices, client locations, and events as required.

Proactive and hands-on approach, willing to take initiative.
