My client is a leading Options Market Maker - They’re currently writing the blueprint to expand their reach and are beginning to expand into new asset classes. Due to this their focus is in finding strong modern C engineers to work in their front office alongside researchers.

While no previous finance experience is required, you’ll leverage your background in developing highly-scalable distributed systems to build their real-time trading platform and research infrastructure to generate immediately visible results with direct impact on the firms bottom line.

It’s a fast-paced environment in a firm known for its ability to combine its vast knowledge of financial markets and technical prowess whilst creating a culture you’d see at a silicon valley tech firm.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain tools to execution and design trading strategies using modern C (14/17/20 ).

· Design, implement, and scale a next generation real-time trading platform.

· Partner with business leaders, traders and researchers to define priorities and deliver custom solutions

· Contribute individually and through leadership and coordination of the above.

Requirements

· 2 years of C experience required. (Post-Graduation)

· Experience with multi-threaded programming and distributed application architecture

· Comfortable with Python.

· The ambition to solve open-ended problems using analytical methods

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM subject

· Market data experience is a plus!
