This entry-level role reports to the Human Resources Manager and is a salaried exempt position starting at an annual salary of $65,000 with bonus potential and an outstanding benefits package including unlimited Paid Time Off. The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Supervisor provides support in the development and implementation of all company safety operations concerning fire, emergency, safety, security, and environmental programs. This includes monitoring safety, health, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations. You'll spend time in the Plant walking the floor and interacting with employees and equipment, perform safety, environmental, and security audits, and build and revise safety policies, procedures, and training documents. The EHS Supervisor also directs hourly paid Colleagues in the completion of their duties and responsibilities. Minimal travel is anticipated with this position, though there may be a need to visit sister plants or attend informative trainings or conferences throughout the course of a year. What You’ll Do: Participate in Incident/Accident Investigations and follow up with Corrective Actions Identify company training needs and develop and coordinate relevant training programs Gather, review, update and distribute safety statistics and reports Participate in new product/process reviews including job hazard analyses, Operator Training, etc. Support plant personnel in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment Review incoming chemicals and manage online SDS system for updates of records Maintain an up-to-date list of all trained employees and contractors Maintain action items as needed Coordinate safety related purchases Why You’ll Love Working for Us: Comprehensive Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision coverages Insurance: Life, Supplemental Life, Short and Long-Term Disability 401(K) Match Unlimited Paid Time Off Employee Assistance Program (EAP) What We Need from You: Associate in Occupational Environmental, Health & Safety or related Engineering field is required. Solid understanding of Federal and State occupational environmental, health & safety, regulations is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Environmental, Health & Safety or related Engineering field is preferred. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification a strong plus No Experience Necessary, but related experience is preferred Able to pass a background check and drug screen Legally authorized to work in the United States.
