PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receives and reviews all non-emergency work orders • Screens each work order to see that it has been properly filled out with the required information • Determines scope and best way to accomplish the work. • Obtains materials required to complete the work order identified by technicians • Consults with requester, Maintenance supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Technicians when necessary • Ensures safety needs are given a top priority in work planning and scheduling • Be a champion of plant safety programs and lead others by example. • Reviews, plans, and schedules all recurring PM (preventive maintenance) activities • Works with supervisor and manager to develop an integrated maintenance work schedule for the Maintenance Staff and Team Leader • Works with Maintenance Supervisor to properly prioritize work and ensure proper resource allocation • Works collaboratively with department Managers and Plant Manager in establishing priorities. • Develops and maintains planner reference systems (library) including a file of planned job packages for recurring jobs. • Work with maintenance clerk to ensure completed schedules and work orders are promptly returned and that all accomplished work orders are finalized by the Maintenance Technicians and authorized contractor representatives. • Conducts post job reviews to validate completion • Ensures post maintenance testing was adequate; identify changes needed to PM program (based on activity results) and/or changes to equipment design and/or inventory management • Assist in planning of project work or any other task need related to duties • Provide recommendations on capital expenditures and work with engineering and plant departments to lead and coordinate capital projects and adhere to timelines and project goals. • Document/maintain machine analysis data to justify facility upgrades • Maintain proper inventory levels of parts, materials, and equipment • Maintain parts inventory and assist with inventory management • Position will be responsible for 3 shifts and a weekend crew. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • High School Diploma/GED • 3-5 years’ experience in a high-volume maintenance and/or manufacturing environment • Excellent “People Skills” • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills • Solid knowledge of work management processes, labor estimating, resource balancing, etc. • Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and O&M requirements • Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety practices and procedures • Great organization skills • General ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams • Technical writing ability • Demonstrated ability for independent decision-making • Must be flexible and responsive to the needs of the business • Must have the ability to overcome obstacles and have the organizational skills necessary to complete assignments in a timely manner • Proven ability to be proactive in problem solving and to lead the resolution of equipment problems • Strong Microsoft Office skill and experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: • Preferred knowledge of CMMS systems and related systems/software Shift Shift 1 (United States of America) Full or Part Time Full time Cabinetworks Group (the “Company”) is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
