Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Barista/Shift Leader to join our team. As a Barista/Shift Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations during your assigned shift. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner

- Manage sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, including restocking shelves and cleaning equipment

- Train and supervise team members to ensure they are performing their duties effectively

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock

- Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner and resolve issues promptly

- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and company policies

- Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a customer service or leadership role preferred

- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members

- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus

- Proficient in cash handling procedures and retail math

- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively

- Familiarity with food safety regulations is desirable

- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends
