Different.** CORE Foodservice has a **Sales Team Intern** opportunity in **Missouri!!!** **Primary Purpose** Sell CORE client’s products to existing and new customers at the operator level in the assigned territory. Manage all aspects of the sales process through CIRI (CORE CRM system) and Order Direct. Develop an understanding of the Foodservice Industry, CORE Foodservice, and the Foodservice Sales process so that our interns can step into a full-time sales role with CORE Foodservice. **Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks** Sales engagement via phone and e-mail to the prescribed list of accounts Complete account research prior to the call utilizing CIRI, Search engines, operator websites, client information Strong working knowledge of the assigned CORE clients Professional sales call and follow up Report sales into Order Direct Report all call activity into the sales logs Weekly check-ins with assigned mentors **Qualifications** Understanding and working knowledge of CIRI Ability to translate industry trends and insights into tangible sales Professional, positive, and persuasive demeanor Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to meet deadlines Punctual, meticulous, and reliable Excellent verbal, written and communication skills Department STRE Employment Type FT Minimum Experience Entry-level Compensation $18/hour
