With over 95 years of experience, Acosta is proudly the proven resource for top retailers and CPG companies across the world. **What is a Meat & Seafood Sales Manager?** A Meat & Seafood Sales Manager works with our valued client to lead compliance efforts, keep up to date knowledge with industry trends, set performance expectations, guidelines, business plans and execution of daily operations. **What is the Impact of a Meat & Seafood Sales Manager?** The Meat & Seafood Sales manager is the face of Acosta for both the retailer and the client. _You will directly impact sales and profits_ by continuously evaluating, training, influencing, & communicating best practices and expectations with associates in the Meat & Seafood department. **Responsibilities** **What will you do?** **Influence and teach** employees to guarantee our team is equipped with knowledge to support the fresh meat and seafood service area. **Facilitate training** to ensure performance and financial metrics are achieved. **Collaborate** with client to **identify areas of development opportunity** for associates. Work closely with the client to **understand present needs** , assign and **execute, plans** that align with the business needs. Developing and overseeing **change recommendations** that **drive financial** and **operational performance** for the area. Maintain current knowledge of products we sell. **Drive sales** by becoming a **product expert** and sharing knowledge with associates on how to best **represent our products to customers** . Assist in any **merchandising** needed for our products. This can include rotating stock, cleaning & maintain displays, pricing, checking date codes, required audits, and ensuring adherence to approved plan-o-gram. **Stay informed** of store concerns, competitive activity, and market trends. **What you will bring to the team:** Outgoing and assertive personality. Natural ability to start conversations with shoppers. Passion for exceptional client service and exceeding sales goals. Prior experience in sales role, preferably in natural retail. Strong communication & relationship building skills. **Qualifications** **Required:** High School diploma/GED. Ability to work in cold conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores). Working internet access and active email address. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, walk, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, grasp, and stand on a daily basis. Availability from 10am – 7 pm including some weekends.
