**Instructional Designer** **Description** We are currently looking for an Instructional Designer to join our Mosaic team\. This position is primarily responsible for assessing, creating, and managing our client's e\-learning materials, TracFone, across various retail distribution points The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively with the client's field training team as well as Mosaic to ensure project deadlines are met, developed content is accurate, and the end user experience performs\. **TracFone Business:** Support creation of training content for both internal and external personnel promoting sales of TracFone, a non\-contract wireless provider’s, products, and services at major retailers across the US Work closely with the Training and Development Manager, Sr\. Trainer, LMS Administrator, and client training team **Day to day:** Primarily focused on major retailers in both general merchandise and specialty categories Conduct needs assessments and develop effective strategies, delivery methods, training materials and curricula to maximize learning, meet and support the client’s business needs, strategies, and project objectives\. Strategically plan and develop an approach for a learning and development curriculum, including tools, related processes and forms, implementation and execution using various change and communication tactics, and effective integration of current and future systems Develop and work with subject matter experts to develop educational materials, storyboards, eLearnings \(including microlearning’s\) and audio/video scripts\. Project manage key initiatives from development through launch and on\-going maintenance Solve business problems through the application of principles of adult learning, instructional design and development and performance technology Understand business processes in a wide range of organizational areas in order to apply structured process improvement and effective problem solving methods for the Retail Sales environment Stay abreast of training and development trends and technologies to identify creative ways to deliver meaningful training experiences that are effective and scalable Participate in learning networks, discussion forums and industry events for best practice sharing, collaborative partnerships and expanding connections **Tools & Technology:** Strong proficiency with the following learning technology and tools: Captivate, **Articulate 360** , Graphic Design, Video development/editing and other animation or media creation tools a plus Working knowledge of web\-based programs HTML, CSS, XHTML, and/or JavaScript as well as browser navigation preferred Must have demonstrated knowledge of course development and curriculum and implementing within a Learning Management System \(LMS\) Advanced experience in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, Character Animator Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word **Qualifications** 5\-8 Years of training & development experience or related education; 5 years of, learning content design and development, project management and consulting experience Bachelor Degree preferred and/or equivalent learning certifications Demonstrated experience designing and developing complex learning solutions Solid organizational skills and takes personal accountability for deliverables and effectiveness of learning activities Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, with solution\-oriented approaches and strong collaboration with business stakeholders Ability to work autonomously and within teams and serve as a trusted liaison with internal constituents Experience in effectively developing training for multiple departments as well as new tools/programs to accelerate the learning curve **Why Mosaic?** Consistently voted one of the best places to work, Mosaic North America gives you the opportunity to work with the world’s most beloved brands that you know and use every day\.
