Acorn Pediatric Dental is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Middletown, NJ

We are looking for a friendly & motivated Dental Receptionist to join our pediatric dental team! The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience working with children/families, enjoys working in a busy environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have previous experience as a receptionist, is organized and has strong customer service skills. Dental experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and their families warmly upon arrival.
  • Answer phones in a friendly and professional tone, taking messages when necessary
  • Be familiar with the location of supplies, equipment and other items, and help maintain an organized workspace.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room, reception area, and bathroom.
  • Perform administrative tasks like scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance breakdowns and payments
  • Understand dental terminology so you can inform patients about their treatment options.

Schedule:

  • M, T & Friday 9am-5pm
  • Thursdays 11am-7pm
  • Rotating Saturdays 8am-1pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
