Structured Cabling Technician

Acomplis Technology is currently seeking Structured Cabling Technicians!

Competitive pay rates $22-$26/hour based upon experience and education.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be punctual and have reliable transportation.
  • Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
  • Be detail oriented.
  • Be able to work independently and in our team environment.
  • Be able to handle disruptions with professionalism and conduct themselves appropriately in work settings.
  • Be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment, while adhering to all quality and safety standards.
  • Be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, stand and reach above shoulder level throughout the workday.
  • Be able to work 35-45 hours per week, with overtime available, as needed.
  • Have strong customer service skills.
  • Have strong communication skills.

Desired Technical Skills:

  • BICSI Certification or Equivalent Industry Experience
  • Experience pulling, routing and installing structured cabling and infrastructure.
  • Experience installing voice, data, fiber optic, video and other cabling systems.
  • Experience with various hand tools.
  • Experience cleaning and organizing the job site.
  • Experience in construction settings.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or Greater
  • 2-5 Years Industry Experience
  • Ability to obtain Virginia DCJS Electronic Security Technician or Eligible to Complete within 90 Days of Hire
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Clean criminal history
  • On Call – Rotating Basis
  • Up to 25% travel – Per Diem Provided

Other benefits such as a company vehicle are dependent on qualifications and position at company’s determination.
