Acme Tools in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Yard Laborer. We are looking for someone to work for the season or to join our team long-term as a part-time employee.

Duties:

- Maintain tools and equipment around the Acme yard and parking lots

- Fuel equipment before and after customer rentals, check battery levels in electric lift equipment, and check cords and locks on trailers

- Load and unload tools, equipment, and trailers for customers

- Inspect tools, equipment, and trailers for damage at the time of rental and return

- Delivery and pick up tools and equipment for customers with a pick-up truck and trailer combo

- Maintain delivery vehicles (schedule oil changes, check fluids, inspect tires, etc.)

- Organize tools and equipment for accessibility

- Clear the yard and parking lots of debris and perform snow and ice removal in the winter

- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity

- Effectively and professionally communicate with other employees and customers over the phone, email, and in person

- Complete related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

- Ability to drive and back up a pick-up and trailer combo

- Communication skills

- Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons

- Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours on a hard surface and bend, squat, pull, push, and reach throughout your shift
