This is a key role in our somewhat small, personal business (13-16 people, 2 autos, 2 manuals), and we’d love to find a friendly, knowledgeable person who wants to help us grow and grow with us. SEEKING:

• Full-time, experienced Production Manager
• A person who can effectively organize a fluid schedule, meet due dates, communicate clearly with our customer service team, and delegate to ensure projects move forward.
• Someone with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on, commercial, textile screen printing experience, preferably much more.
• Someone with a minimum of 1 year of management experience, preferably more.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, such as prioritization, follow-up and follow-through.
• A genuine interest in giving people a great product and experience with us. Including employees.
• MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL SCREEN PRINTING EXPERIENCE PRINTING APPAREL. Sorry, no ‘fast learners’ for this position. Previous employers will be contacted.
• MUST HAVE MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE. Being an excellent printer is a HUGE plus and printing may be necessary at times, but this position is for a manager, not a printer.
• Experience managing a fast-moving production environment.
• Ability to work with team members' strengths and encourage development where needed.
• The willingness & desire to figure out what needs to be done on ANY project given to you without requiring your hand to be held.
• A naturally positive outlook and attitude. No jerks, please.
• Highly motivated, reliable, and productive.
• Intimate knowledge of simulated process, four-color process, and spot-color printing on dark garments.
• Advanced understanding of screen mesh types, screen coating and their appropriate applications.
• Understanding of basic mechanics of most screen printing equipment.
• Must speak, read, and write fluently in English. Other languages are a nice bonus.
• Must be legal to work in the United States. Duh.

Position is full time. 6-2:30, M-F.

Pay rate is negotiable if you’re a superhero. Otherwise, starting pay is $22 to $28 per hour depending on experience, skill level, and responsibilities taken on. The higher side of the pay range is if you can handle managing and some printing.
