Located in Carpentersville, Acme Industrial Company has been providing quality industrial bushings and inserts for over 100 years. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Inspector working 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, M - F. You'll provide important support to our manufacturing team to ensure that our products meet the requirements of our customers. Your duties will include:

• Review blueprints and shop orders to obtain critical specs.
• Utilize measurement devices including micrometers, calipers and comparetors
• Approve set ups
• Inspect first run articles to authorize inspection runs
• Inspect parts to authorize shipments
• Complete paperwork to document inspection results and enter data into the system
• Calibrate gages to verify accuracy.

The individual we seek will have experience in inspection, preferably in a metal working environment.
