In this position, you will assist the Payroll Administrator in processing the bi-weekly payroll for over 1,300 employees in ADP Workforce Now & ADP eTime.
Essential Functions
• Bi-weekly production of assigned payroll including but not limited to: collection of timecards, review for accuracy, inform and resolve errors with program supervisors, input all travel reimbursements.
• Verify / audit entries for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, leaves of absences, rate changes, etc. Input standard hours, tax, direct deposit, insurance eligibility, accrual coding, etc.
• Assist with audit and reconciliation of payroll register as compared to timecard reports after processing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain bi-weekly check distribution list, sort, merge and distribute checks and direct deposit vouchers.
• Advise program supervisors on policy and procedures pertaining to payroll.
• Data entry and review for all garnishments to be processed by ADP
• Generate and review reports as needed by Supervisor.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of bi-weekly General Ledger reports.
We require:
• High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree preferred.
• 3 years experience in a payroll environment including ADP Workforce Now; ADP eTime; or ADP E-Z Labor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication, organizational, customer service and follow-up skills.
• Must be detail oriented in order to maintain accurate data.
This is a full-time, 35 hours per week, position (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm) located in Bethpage. It is eligible for medical/dental and has a generous paid-time off package.
