Achilles USA is hiring Manufacturing Team Member to join our growing team. The Manufacturing Team Member is primarily responsible for supporting the Lead Operator in ensuring raw and sub materials are fully stocked, roll mill or mixer control panels are maintained and monitors order progress to ensure machine does not run out of compound, etc. A successful candidate would have a mechanical mindset, a can-do attitude and feel comfortable working around large machinery.
Essential Functions for Manufacturing Team Member:
- Receive, store and move raw and sub materials to ensure machine doesn’t run out of materials; replenishes supplies accordingly.
- Monitors raw compound mix and recycles used compound.
- Supports other crew members by monitoring assigned controls and overseeing the compound process for specified area.
- Clean and maintain dust rings, floor intensive mixer, roll mills and line dumpster.
- Prepares for new orders by selecting appropriate mixes and moving them to staging area of production line.
- Adjust machine controls to control flow of raw materials through the roll mill process.
Requirements
Qualifications for Manufacturing Team Member:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- Manufacturing experience.
- Machine operating experience a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to climb 3 flights of stairs regularly.
