As a Retail Job Coach in our Client Services Department, you will be providing support and training to the individuals served in the Morro Bay Thrift Store and ensuring efficient, safe and effective operation of the site. You will work together with the individuals and other staff to ensure we are meeting and exceeding customers' expectations, donation profitability, and quality vocational training for the individuals served.

Typical day-to-day activities include:

• Understand and submit all paperwork as required by deadline including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies and case management documentation.

• Provide individuals with continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives that guarantee and correspond with abilities and development.

• Maintain a courteous, positive, enthusiastic, well-mannered and professional demeanor while working with Individuals served and the community.

• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.

• Market and merchandise the store to ensure an appropriate atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license as driving is a must for this position 
• Must be able to successfully pass a LiveScan background check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to be a role model for adults with disabilities
• Need to be flexible and be available to work at least 1 weekend day per week

We have both full-time and part-time positions available. 

Anticipated hiring range is $18.00 per hour plus benefits and perks.

(*Full salary schedule range is $18.00-$20.00)
