TITLE: Job Coach Rover

SALRAY RANGE: $19.00 - $21.00

DEPARTMENT: Achievement House North

LOCATION: San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Heart Castle

SCHEUDLE: Full Time or Part Time, Sunday - Wednesday

BONUS: $250 Sign on Bonus (paid at 90 and 180 days)

Achievement House, Inc., a non-profit organization with a history of serving individuals with developmental disabilities since 1957, is seeking a dedicated Job Coach Rover to join our team. As a Rover, you will play a crucial role in training Direct Support Professionals, ensuring efficient and safe operations, and working closely with staff to maximize our impact.

Required Qualifications

• Must have own vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license.
• Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance.
• Must clear fingerprints through the California Department of Justice and the FBI.
• A high school education or equivalent.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and availability to work at least one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous instruction for vocational growth, tailored to the client's individual abilities and development.
• Complete and submit all necessary paperwork, including transportation documentation, attendance records, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies, and case management documentation.
• Adhere to all protocols and procedures for the specific department or program in which you are working.
• Coach individuals with disabilities on a variety of tasks, ensuring work quality meets standards and individuals are able to begin working independently.
• Ensure the health and safety of all individuals at your site.
