Achieve Renovations is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Midland, PA

The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our properties. This role is responsible for the successful completion of the tasks given to them, which includes completing assignments on time, within the allotted budget, and maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys being hands-on and helping customers.

Responsibilities:

· General maintenance includes, but not limited to, performing routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliance repairs.

· Conduct regular inspections of units, common areas, and exteriors to identify maintenance needs and complete orders efficiently and effectively, adhering to the established timelines.

· Repairs and troubleshooting may include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to ensure tenant comfort and safety.

· Responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance tasks, such as changing HVAC filters and inspecting fire extinguishers. Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and completed tasks.

· Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours and weekends and address urgent repairs to prevent further damage and ensure tenant satisfaction.

· Skilled in carpentry and construction work, proficient in performing a wide range of maintenance tasks applicable to property management companies.

· Proficient in performing repair and renovation projects, including carpentry tasks, to maintain and enhance properties under management.

· Ensure properties meet safety and compliance standards by identifying and rectifying potential hazards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes and regulations.

· Collaborate with property management team to prioritize and plan maintenance tasks. Communicate effectively with tenants, providing updates on maintenance requests and repairs.

· Assist in property improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades as directed by the property manager. Participate in regular property inspections to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors. Ensure work is completed to quality standards and within established timelines.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

· 5 years of related maintenance technician experience. Working for property management experience a plus.

· Experience in carpentry work to include drywall patching, taping/finishing, finish carpentry, painting and caulking, changing plumbing, lighting and other fixtures,

· Experience working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.

· Must have own tools and be able to safely use various manual tools and power equipment.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and efficiently.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Must be able to adapt to conditions and circumstances. Working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in tight spaces.

· Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hours.

· Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 80 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.

· Availability for maintenance calls after hours and on weekends are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
