Job Summary:

The Staffing/Outreach Manager is responsible for meeting staffing and outreach goals. The Manager will oversee the Staffing Department and ensure that goals are met, and continuous outreach of current and new referral sources are ongoing. Educates and interacts with the general public and professionals about the services Achieve Beyond provides. The Manager is responsible for fostering new and maintaining current referral sources, building and maintaining rapport, and support for services needed from referral sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Staffing:

  • Supervise, evaluate, and ensure Staffing Department meets their targeted goals.
  • Full management of department including interviewing, performance management, and coaching.
  • Conduct report analysis and planning for departmental NYC staffing needs.
  • Collaborates with internal departments to drive staffing success and overcome challenges as they arise.
  • Guides staff through change by providing clear communication and utilizing change management strategies.

Outreach:

  • To maintain, identify, and organize potential referral sources through in person community visits/virtual/telephonic means regularly.
  • Ensures effective plans are in place to meet outreach targets.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and creates and follows through on action plans.
  • Conducting presentations, and workshops, attending community meetings, and attending health fairs as they arise
  • Ensures up to date tracking of referrals and site visits using internal database/run reporting.
  • Respond to inquiries for services through website submissions, phone calls/voicemails.

Education Or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
  • Must have at minimum two years of managerial experience
  • Knowledge of Early Intervention (EI) and Committee for Pre-School Education (CPSE) preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills
  • Highly organized and data driven; understands how to analyze and use data to identify opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Possesses a high level of initiative, problem solving, and motivation.
  • Must be comfortable communicating and working closely with all levels of staff and community members.
  • Must be levelheaded and has a can-do attitude to deliver exceptional leadership and results
  • A confident/positive leader who has a resilient personality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving a personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods up to 90% of the workday working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation: Full-time salary, exempt, $62,400

Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30 pm Must Be Willing To Work Overtime As Needed. This position is in office 5 days a week.
