IT Intern

Locations: Across 8 different locations with over 500 staff members

Hours: 10-20 hours per week for 3-4 months

Join Achieve Behavioral Health as an IT Intern and become an essential part of our expansive organization, supporting over 500 staff members across 8 diverse locations. In the Achieve IT Department, every person no matter how junior or senior plays a pivotal role in shaping the company technology and working with staff across the organization. As an IT intern you can expect the opportunity to interact with everyone from new clinical hires to the CIO and clinical department directors.

Responsibilities:

· IT Service Desk Support: Provide essential frontline support to end-users in various locations, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.

· Hardware and Networking: Assist in managing hardware setups, configuring networks, and participating in maintenance tasks across multiple locations.

· Software Learning: Familiarize yourself with the diverse array of software applications used within our organization, mastering their functionalities and troubleshooting protocols.

· Collaboration and Problem-solving: Work collaboratively with the IT team to resolve end-user issues, contribute to developing best practices, and actively participate in building and refining our IT systems.

· Active Participation: This internship is an immersive experience; you'll engage directly with our healthcare teams, contributing your expertise to enhance our IT infrastructure and support end-users.

Requirements:

· Currently pursuing an advanced education in technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Eligible programs include: Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, and IT trade school certification.

· Familiarity with or coursework related to IT systems, hardware, software, or networking.

· A strong desire to learn and proactively solve problems.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Compensation: 

This internship is a paid position which will be compensated at $15 per hour.
