A Center for Mental Wellness strives to strengthen the family by increasing and improving skills that benefit everyone in the home. ACFMW Community Support Programs is expanding and hiring part-time Therapeutic Support for Families who make treatment accessible to clients and their families in the community setting. The TSF will provide community support for children and adolescents with behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. This is a great opportunity for those with knowledge of clinical interventions and who enjoy working with youth and want to have a positive impact on their clients’ success.

The TSF is responsible for providing guidance, services, and support to children and their families/caregivers in a variety of environments. The TSF will follow-through with client-centered treatment plans while working in the community setting of the client. The TSF is required to travel in the community and will likely transport their clients during visits. The TSF is responsible for working towards reaching goals with the clients, and utilizing appropriate behavioral interventions while doing so. While the TSF works independently with the child and family, they also collaborate with the treatment team for the youth in helping clients reach successful outcomes. The TSF will facilitate, engage, support, and model participation in positive activities and across various settings including family homes, parks and recreation centers, and other facilities that the TSF finds appropriate. This position works directly with children and adults.

Applicant must be extremely motivated, have the ability to work independently, be technology proficient, and have the drive to reach the goals. They must be able to complete progress notes and other time-sensitive documentation. Must be knowledgeable in clinical interventions. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology / Human Services / Social Work or related field is required to be a qualified applicant.

TSF will be required to travel in the community to work with clients.

This is a part-time position with the possible opportunity to move to full-time in the future.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
