This position will be responsible for assisting the Director of IT Project Management to coordinate IT projects including but not limited to project planning, execution, and control. This position will coordinate with cross-functional teams, and assist with technology enhancements, upgrades, and replacements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with third party application vendors including but not limited to Hartigen, Allegro, and OATI regarding market changes and applicable application upgrade testing.
• Coordinate internal user testing for application upgrades.
• Assist with configuring applications for new clients, features, functionality, or market changes.
• Assist with developing and implementing project management process, procedures, and documentation.
• Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing project status reports, and tracking project progress.
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines and maintaining project documentation.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time. Understand the ACES offerings and environment, how they are used to serve ACES’ Clients, and basic market mechanics and timing to ensure system availability for key market events.
• Collaborate with teams to update and maintain processes and business workflows, including Jira projects.
• Observe and analyze system performance, investigate potential improvements, and communicate or implement the improvements.
• Identify and manage project risk and issues, escalating as necessary.
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data and appropriate access to ACES applications and market security-related interfaces.
• Adheres to and is supportive of all ACES corporate policies and complies with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to NERC, FERC and relevant state regulations as applicable to the position.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Business, Information Management, PMP certification, or related discipline preferred.
• Understanding of writing and executing SQL statements preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and eager to learn new jobs/tasks.
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects with distinct attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,900.00 - $72,000.00 per year
