Maternity Leave Coverage for Spanish teacher: Short-term contract/long term substitute
Amy Biehl High School is currently seeking a Spanish teacher to cover the first quarter of the SY 24-25. Qualifications include NM Secondary Certification in Modern Languages (Spanish) and/or a NM Substitute Teaching License. This position is great for a retired Spanish teacher or someone who is looking for a long term substitute position. Spoken and written Spanish fluency is required.
Responsibilities include teaching three classes of Spanish I and one class of Heritage Spanish, as well as facilitating an Advisory class and an elective. We are a year-round school so the first day of school with students is July 18th. This position would last until our fall break begins, which is September 20th.
